USD 459 Bucklin Schools

The Bucklin Community is fantastic! At our first strategic plan meeting, some community members heard that we

need a new milk cooler for the cafeteria. These wonderful folks made a phone call and put Invenergy, specifically

John Mcguinnis, in touch with me. After John and I had a very productive conversation about Invenergy and

community partnerships, Invenergy agreed to purchase Bucklin Schools a new milk cooler.

If not for the support of community members and the networking that it provided, I would still be searching for funding for the milk cooler.

Electronic Devices

Cell Phones, Smart Watches, Earbuds, etc.

All electronic devices, except for the school issued Chromebook, will be turned off and placed in a backpack or locker from 8:00am-3:30 pm. Personal devices will not be allowed for use at any time during the school day.
Violations of this policy will result in the cell phone being confiscated by the administration. Parents will need to pick up the device and 1st offense will result in ISS, 2nd offense will result in OSS, a 3rd offense will result in an administrative hearing to determine consequences.
